It all started in 2012, when Stacy created the foggy bottom BBQ competition team with the help of neighbor and friend, Phillip. From there, the two started professionally competing in BBQ events across the state of Georgia, gaining both competition victories and an excited fan base.
As things evolved, Foggy Bottom started catering, vending at festivals, and providing fundraisers for local youth sporting programs. With this early success, tremendous support from friends and family, and constant demand for great Southern food...Foggy Bottom BBQ's Loganville location was born. After 17 years in the software sales business, Stacy had finally decided to take a step back and follow his passion for 'Faith, Family & Food.' Six years later, following Loganville's success, Foggy Bottom's second location, in Lawrenceville, opened. Growing up in Louisiana, Stacy can remember spending time with his loved ones and enjoying traditional Cajan foods while watching the LSU football games, a nostalgia that inspired certain menu items like our Red Beans & Rice, Jambalaya Thursdays, or our famous Cajun fried rib appetizer.
